Incubator is a vertical sculpture composed of interlocking panels that rise from an amorphic, rock-like base toward an increasingly legible form, the Hebrew letter Alef. The panels are wrapped in leather that was exposed to the Florida sun for several months, accumulating marks burned, bleached, and impressed by light and heat.
