The instant between freefall and firm ground is a paradoxical space where parachute's kiss with the earth meets the undeniable pull of gravity. I welded the metal base and suspension lines with reference to botanical growth pattern, and the airy, fringed canopy is made of punctured and texturized cotton paper that lets light through.
