An Israeli-born artist, Hodaya Louis is known for her extensive body of work, which features resisting elements and expressive brushstrokes, used to convey strong female narratives and tension-filled experimental abstracts. Her earliest artistic inclinations were nurtured by her father, fine artist David Louis. Her work is recognized internationally via gallery exhibitions, grant titles and private commissioned artworks. Works have been featured in publications such as The Cut, W Magazine, Metropolitan Magazine, Teen Vogue, Insider, and the New York Post. She is currently based in New York, where she received a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from the Fashion Institute of Technology in 2010.
